My final research assignment in The Melbourne University was my PhD into Successful Christian Schooling:

Putting them in the hands of God: A successful Australian Christian School

This study combined qualitative research with quantitative tools devised by the Victorian Department of Education Employment and Training for their triennial review of state schools:

The research revealed these keys to successful leadership:

1. Values, beliefs, ethics and moral integrity
2. Vision and a predilection for change
3. Care for and development of people
4. Distributed leadership
5. Building community
6. Contribution to student achievement
7. Reflective leadership who learn
